Final Over

Yash Dayal got Dhoni wicket in final over

Young pacer Yash Dayal proved his value in the final over. He was defending 17 runs in the final over to stop CSK from entering into the Top 4. The first ball of the over to Dhoni went for a Massive six, probably the Longest six of the IPL 2024 season. 11 were needed out of 5 balls, Which looked easy for CSK on Chinnaswamy ground. But, on the very next ball, M.S. Dhoni got out of the slower ball. Shardul Thakur missed the slower bouncer but managed to give a single to Jadeja in the next bowl. 10 runs were required of 2 balls but Jadeja was not able to connect the wide slower balls.

The dramatic match ended with smiles on Kohli’s fans. Royal Challengers won consecutively 6 matches to level 14 points with CSK. It was one of the biggest comebacks ever by the team to qualify.
